Miseducation of the Bully Breed

Bully breeds tend to be judged unfarily. Even the label “bully breed” makes them seem like the mean kid on the playground. Truth be told, all bully breeds share similar qualities that make them ideal additions to any family. None more so than the American Bully specifically bred for such purpose.

The American Bully, Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier (sometimes called an AmStaff), American Pit Bull Terrier (commonly called the Pit Bull), and a number of other breeds are known for their protection instincts (like our beloved Labordor Retriever). Because of their broad stance and “intimadating demeanor”, they are often associated with aggression. But make no mistake, these bully breeds are really just misunderstood sweethearts.
